Born in Sardegna and raised in the hardcore punk scene, Giuseppe Garau started as a director of short films and awarded documentaries.
His debut narrative feature “L’Incidente” wins Grand Jury Prize at Slamdance 2024 and has been presented in Italy by Cineteca di Bologna.
In 2024 he’s been a juror for Directors Notes Awards in London and currently he’s a programmer for OSCAR/BAFTA qualifying Short Films category at Slamdance.
